Sindh has reported 95 more Omicron cases, taking the variant's tally in the province from 173 to 268.

According to a handout issued by the Chief Minister's Office, the 95 new Omicron cases were detected in samples tested between December 28, 2021 and January 2, 2022.

It shows that the new variant is spreading fast and needs to be controlled through precautionary measures, the statement quoted Sindh Chief Minister Murad Ali Shah as saying.
