Golfers for India

LAHORE, Nov 22: A 12-member Punjab golf team is due to leave for India on Wednesday to play a match against the Indian Punjab team. The match will be played on the Ryder Cup format basis at Chandigarh Golf Club.

The team comprises Murad Khan, Ahmed Waqas, M. Safdar, Nadeem Abbas, Aamir Mehmood, Tariq Chaudhry, Mohsin Anwar, Khwaja Imran Zubair, Hammayun Rashid, Imran Ahmed, Dr. Zahid Khan and Shafiq Bhatti.

Col. Zulfiqar Rana will accompany the team as non-playing captain. Also accompanying the team are Zafar Abbas, President Punjab Golf Association, M. Tariq Rai Azizullah (MNA), Alam Setthi, and Ahmed Sukhera.
