Landslide leaves two miners dead

QUETTA: Two workers died when they were hit by a landslide inside a coalmine in the Londa area of Chamalang in Duki District of Balochistan.

Officials said the incident occurred when the miners were busy digging the coal deep inside the mine.

“Two miners were hit by the boulders and died on the spot,” Levies Force officials said. After medico-legal formalities, the bodies were handed over to their heirs. The deceased were identified as Ghulam Qadir and Shadi Khan. They hailed from Kohlu district.
