SHIKARPUR: Bandits kidnap 3 farmers

SHIKARPUR, Nov 21: Three farmers were kidnapped by a group of seven bandits from an agriculture field on Sunday night within the jurisdiction of Amrote police. The hostages were identified as Abdullah Dayo, son of Nasrullah Dayo; Ghulam Mustafa Bozdar, son of Ghulam Nabi Bozdar; and Ghulam Abbas, son of Mohammad Mithal Bozdar, resident of the Naushahro Abro villaqe, Garhi Yasin taluka .

The bandits took three farmers on their motorbikes and left one of the kidnapped men, Ghulam Abbas Bozdar at a short distance outside the Naushahro Abro village and took away two of the kidnapped men with them.

After his release, Ghulam Abbas informed the villagers and the police.

A heavy contingent of police led by the DPO of Shikarpur, Pir Farid Jan Sarhandi, and the SP investigation began a search for kidnappers but returned without any success.

Police raided different villages, including Rakhial-Ji-Wandh, Haji Ali Mohammad Jatoi and Kiri Magsi villages, in search of the kidnappers.

During the raids police arrested Mooso Shar, the brother of bandit Annu Shar, Mohammad Mithal Jatoi, Mohammad Alam Magsi and others.

The arrested were kept at Garhi Yasin police station for further interrogation.

No case was registered till the filing of this report.
