DUSHANBE, Nov 20: President Afghanistan Football Federation (AFF), Lt Gen Karimud Din said on Sunday their senior team would visit Pakistan next year to play a Test series.

“We have planned the visit of our team next year and we will sort out all the necessary details regarding the dates and venues at a meeting during the SAFF Cup in Karachi next month,” he said in an interview here.

He said the series would help promote football ties between the two neighbouring countries besides helping the Afghan side learn from an experienced team.—APP
