KARACHI: Six vehicles taken away

KARACHI, Oct 15: Six vehicles — three cars and an equal number of motorcycles — were either hijacked or stolen in the city on Monday.

The cars were hijacked in Sharea Faisal, Darakhshan, and Hyderi Market. Two motorcycles were stolen in Mehmoodabad and Nabi Bux.

Noman Ahmed lodged a report at New Karachi police station that two unidentified men hijacked his motorcycle.

The police also claimed on Monday to have recovered one vehicle in Garden.

ROBBERIES: Two robberies were committed in the city on Monday, the police said.

Abdullah Noor lodged a complaint at Defence PS that three armed men barged into his house in DHA, held the occupants at gunpoint, and got away with valuables and jewellery.

Dad Mohammed lodged a complaint at Malir City police station that five unidentified men barged into his house and looted cash and gold jewellery.
