KARACHI: FUUAST admissions

KARACHI, Nov 17: The admissions to the Federal Urdu University for Arts, Science and Technology (FUUAST) for the academic year 2006 are in progress. This was announced by the FUUAST registrar here on Thursday. He said that forms would be issued for admission to 59 disciplines up to Nov 19.

The applicants have been reminded that the last date for the submission of admission forms is Nov 19.

So far, as many as 9,000 forms have been submitted, the announcement added.

It was further pointed out that the academic session 2006 will commence from Jan 1.

For eligibility, a candidate should have secured at least second division or 45 per cent marks in the relevant subject.

For admission to pharmacy 60 per cent marks and for BS and LLB 50 per cent marks are required, it was further pointed out.—APP
