Softball: NWFP trials on Nov 20

PESHAWAR, Nov 16: Trials to select NWFP softball team for the forthcoming National softball championship will be held at Yar Hussain, Swabi on Nov 20, secretary NWFP Softball Association Muhammad Amin said on Wednesday.

The trials will be followed by a 25-day camp for the probables under the supervision of coaches who had qualified a coaching clinic in Dec 2004 last year organized by Pakistan Softball Federation.

A selection committee with President NWFP Softball Association Mutasim Billah Shah at its head and Syed Inayat Ali, Mujahid Said and Falak Naz as members will pick the players.

The trials would be open to all the players from all the districts of the province, Amin said.—APP
