LAHORE, Nov 16: A sparkling century by opener Mansoor Amjad and half-centuries by Imran Nazir and Shahzad Malik gave Sialkot a big 178 runs lead against Karachi Urban (KU) in the Quaid-i-Azam Trophy Gold League at the National Stadium Karachi on Wednesday.

Mansoor scored 112, cracking 17 boundaries and one six off 138 balls while Imran hit 74 (14 fours, 96 balls) and Shahzad (56) as Sialkot piled up 350 for seven in the first innings while replying to Karachi Urban’s 172. Mansoor also featured in the opening stand of 123 with Faisal Naveed (39).

Left-arm medium-pacer Nasir Khan and right-arm pacer Tabish Khan picked up three wickets for Urban for 103 and 107 runs.
