CORRIGENDUM

Published November 21, 2021

The review of Javed Jabbar’s book “But Prime Minister...” by Safiya Aftab, published in Books and Authors on Nov 7, inadvertently carried certain factual inaccuracies that did not reflect the content of the book itself. Specifically, the meeting between the author and Ms Benazir Bhutto in Damascus took place in June 2000, not 2007, and the first government of Ms Bhutto lasted 20 months, not 18. In addition, the author mentions in the book that he was invited to join the PPP in 1988 and never “offered his services” as the review had stated. Eos apologises for the errors.
