Salesman killed in road accident

KHAIRPUR, Nov 16: A salesman of a medical company was killed in an accident involving his motorcycle and a truck at the Chatti chowk on the Mall road here on Wednesday. Huzoor Bux Dayo was seriously injured in the accident.

He died on way to the civil hospital.

The A-section police have impounded the truck. The truck-driver, Sajid Hattar, escaped after the accident.

NAZIM: Kotdiji Taluka Nazim Munawar Wassan has alleged that despite a ban on appointments, 36 people were appointed in the Kotdiji taluka council by the former taluka nazim and the Kotdiji TMO.

Talking to reporters here on Wednesday, he further alleged that these employees were appointed on regular basis instead of contract.—BoC
