Pakistan has reported 391 new coronavirus cases in the last 24 hours — the first time since October 2020 that the country detected less than 400 infections.

Pakistan had last reported less than 400 cases (385) on Oct 11, 2020.

The positivity rate has also remained below two per cent since Oct 15.

The countrywide breakdown of cases in the last 24 hours is as follows:

  • Punjab: 138
  • Sindh: 127
  • Khyber Pakhtunkhwa: 80
  • Balochistan: 15
  • Islamabad: 26
  • Gilgit-Baltistan: 2
  • Azad Jammu and Kashmir: 3
