KARACHI, Nov 15: the Sindh High Court on Tuesday reserved judgment on a petition against construction of police station on the amenity land for hospital in Orangi Town. Mohammad Afaq Khan Shahid submitted that the police station was constructed on the plot in a such manner that it made the entire plot unusable for construction of a 50-bed hospital. He also questioned the validity of the government order according to which construction of the police station on hospital land was allowed.

Additional Advocate General Sarwar Khan defended the decision and submitted that the concerned departments had unanimously agreed that police station not be removed from the premises and the remaining land be given to the health department to utilize it for hospital.
