HYDERABAD, Oct 15: The registrar, Liaquat University of Medical and Health Sciences, announced on Monday that for admissions to the Liaquat University of Medical and Health Sciences, Jamshoro, on Hafiz-e-Quran seat tests will be conducted on Oct 17, 18, and 19 in the committee room of the LUMHS, Jamshoro.

The test for candidates having roll numbers from 1 to 1000 will be held on Oct 17. The test for candidates having roll numbers 1001 to 2000 will be held on Oct 18. The test for candidates having roll numbers from 2001 onwards will be held on Oct 19.

Those who have applied in first year MBBS under Hafiz-e-Quran (twenty marks additional) can appear in the test. Those candidates who have applied for admissions in the LUMHS, Jamshoro, in MBBS and BDS and have not collected their admit cards can collect them between Oct 22 and 24.

RESULTS: The controller of examinations, University of Sindh, Jamshoro, on Monday announced the results of M.A. Final (Hons) Philosophy semester, B.A. (Hons) Part-III, B.A. (Hons) Part-II and B.A. (Hons) Part-I of the Philosophy semester, BBA (Hons) Part-II semester of regular and failure/improver (Old Course), BBA (Hons) Part-II semester, regular (new course), M.A. final pass side, and M.A. previous Sociology semester examinations, 2000.

The controller has also announced the results of M.A. final (Hons) Muslim History, B.A. (Hons) Part-III, B.A (Hons) Part-II, and B.A. (Hons) Part-I semester examination and M.A. final (pass side) Muslim History semester examination, 2000.

HESCO: Hesco authorities announced on Monday that due to maintenance power supply to Khata Chowk, Naeeon Ka Pir, Shahi Bazaar, Seroghat, Wadhoon Ka Pir, Memon Hospital, New Cloth Market, Capital Plaza, and Pinjra Pul would remain suspended on Oct 17 from 9am to 4pm, and power supply from 11 KV feeders of 132 KV Khanote grid station would also remain suspended on Wednesday from 6am to 12pm.
