PESHAWAR: Two persons were killed and five others injured in different incidents in North Waziristan tribal district on Sunday.

Police officials said unknown assailants shot dead a youth, identified as Sham Sher of Tapi village. His body was found on the banks of River Tochi. The locals spotted the body on Sunday morning.

Locals said the youth had no enmity with anyone, adding he had gone to the area to attend a marriage party on Saturday night.

Meanwhile, a man was killed in a clash between two groups of Eidki tribe.

The district administration officials said the clash occurred between Naseem Khan and Mohammad Ghulam groups.

The deceased was identified as Qaiser Amin. Five persons, including Akbar, Ahmed, Samiullah, Nasir and Khan Zeb, got injuries during the firing. Officials said the clash occurred over an old enmity.
