CHARSADDA: Two employees of a private bank and the public health department were killed when the motorcycle they were riding was hit by an oil tanker on the Nowshera-Charsadda Road here on Wednesday.

Fazal Kahliq, an employee of public health department, and Mr Sarmast, cash sales manager at a private bank’s Charsadda branch, were coming from Nowshera to their workplaces on a motorcycle when they were hit by an oil tanker coming from the opposite direction near a CNG station.

Mr Khaliq died on the spot, while Mr Sarmast was taken to the Lady Reading Hospital, Peshawar, in precarious condition, where he succumbed to his injures.

The police registered a case against the oil tanker driver and started investigation.
