TAXILA: Police arrested a man who allegedly sexually assaulted an eleven-year-old girl at his workplace in the limits of Taxila police station on Tuesday.

Sub-divisional Police Officer ASP Mohammad Waqas while talking to newsmen said the accused had taken the girl to his factory on the pretext of delivering ration where he raped her.

Later, the victim brought the matter to her parents notice who along with police took the girl to Tehsil Headquarters Hospital for medical examination which confirmed the rape.

Police have registered a case against the nominated accused and arrested him.

Meanwhile, a man was abducted in the limits of Wah Cantonment police station.

Mohammad Hussain reported to police that his son went to market from where he was abducted.

Police have registered a case and started further investigation.
