Blessing in Disguise
Qaisar Omar

With the help of plenty of photographs, some newspaper clippings and a host of other personal documents, the former banker records the story of his own life, of his family and of Partition. He intersperses recollections of the difficulties endured as a consequence of Partition with thoughtful conversations had with his father, reminiscences of friends, family memories and teachings of Islam. Additionally calling his book “a guideline for bankers”, he shares incidents and events from his own career that show the hard realities of life as a member of the banking and financial industry.
