RAWALPINDI: Two persons died in the district on Saturday and 15 people tested positive for the virus whereas 10 patients discharged from the hospitals.

Positivity rate of Covid-19 in Rawalpindi District was at 1.06pc as 1,405 tests were conducted, which found the virus in 15 people in the district.

Feroza Jan, 65, resident of Chakri, was brought to Rawalpindi Institute of Urology (RIU) on Sept 29 where she died on Saturday.

Mohammad Hussain, 73, resident of Tench Bhatta, was shifted to Pakistan Institute of Medical Sciences on Oct 22 where he died on Saturday.

In Rawalpindi district, out 197 active patients 36 patients are in the hospitals including 13 from other districts and 161 patients are home isolated.
