KARACHI: Displaying outstanding skills, Eman Hassan captured double crown in the eighth Prof Dr Essa Mohammad Abdullah Ranking Table Tennis Tournament here at the Sindh Sports Board (SSB) Sports Complex on Saturday.

Eman carved out a 11-5, 11-6, 11-6 victory over Syeda Wania in the final to win the cadet girls singles title.

Later, she outplayed Bushra Anwar 11-8, 11-5, 12-10 to clinch the junior girls singles title to accomplish the feat of double crown.

Arham bin Farrukh and Mohammad Abbas set a date for the cadet boys singles final after winning their respective semi-finals.

Arham inflicted a 11-7, 11-8, 11-6 defeat upon Sabahat Hussain while Abbas overpowered Rahat Hussain 11-3, 11-8, 11-5.

The junior boys singles also reached the finals after Raza Abbas and Mohammad Hasan won their respective semi-finals. Raza got the better of Mehdi Lal Jee 7-11, 11-7, 11-6, 11-8 while Mohammad Hasan overwhelmed Arham bin Farrukh 11-5, 11-4, 11-7.
