KARACHI: The eighth Prof Dr Essa Mohammad Abdullah Ranking Table Tennis Tournament will commence at the Sindh Sports Board (SSB) Sports Complex on Friday with over 150 men, women and juniors competing for honours.

The events that will take place are men’s singles and doubles, women’s singles and doubles, mixed doubles, junior U-18 boys and girls singles, cadet U-15 boys and girls singles.

Saim Adnan has been seeded on top in the men’s singles and followed by Hussain Virani, Arsalan Alvi and Noman Dara respectively. Hareem Anwar tops the women’s singles seedings. She is followed by Atiqa Khan, Aisha Yusuf, and Maria Tanzeem respectively.
