KARACHI: Bodies of two men, with visible marks of torture, were found in different parts of the city on Sunday, police said.

The Sachal police said that the body of an unidentified man, who appeared to be in his 40s, was found in an iron box from Barijo Goth near Hakeem Villas.

Area SHO Aurangzeb Khattak said the body bore marks of torture and the face was brutally smashed. He was wearing pants and shirt.

The corpse was shifted to the Jinnah Postgraduate Medical Centre (JPMC) for medico-legal formalities.

In the second incident, a 35-year-old man was found murdered in Ittehad Town on Sunday.

Area SHO Ayaz Khan said that the tortured body of Usman Rabistan was found in Mohammed Khan Colony. He said it appeared that he was killed somewhere else and the body was dumped there late.
