Sindh has reported 470 new coronavirus cases in the last 24 hours — the first time the province detected less than 500 daily infections since July 7 when 373 cases were confirmed.

The province's caseload has reached 457,106, according to a statement from the Chief Minister's Office.

Meanwhile, 25 more people succumbed to the virus, raising the death toll to 7,407.

According to the statement, the province's coronavirus recovery rate stands at 93.8 per cent.
