HYDERABAD, Jan 24: UC Chambar-I in a meeting on Wednesday adopted a unanimous resolution condemning the frequent interference of Tando Allahyar taluka administration in the working of the union council.

The meeting demanded of the Sindh government to stop the taluka administration from undue interference into the affairs of the union council.

The meeting made it clear that the union council had the exclusive right over the income of its cattle market which would be spent on the welfare of the people.

The UC Nazim Irfan Gul Magsi said that tenders for development work of Rs13 million had already been floated.

He regretted that unnecessary uproar had been created against the floating of the tenders while no such objections had been raised against the other union councils.

He said that the Chambar cattle market had remained in the control of his opponents for 30 years who had allegedly misappropriated Rs500 million and spent nothing on the welfare of the people.

He added that these people would have to account for their misdeeds.
