Rs3 million robbery

GUJRAT: Four unidentified gunmen looted cash and valuables worth around Rs3 million from a house in Shadman Colony in the precincts of the civil lines police late on Wednesday.

The gunmen came in a blue car to the house of Athar Mehmood when the family was about the leave the house in their car. The robbers and got the family down held them hostage in a room.

They took away Rs1.5 million, 1,000 euros, three mobile phones, gold ornaments, a laptop and other valuables.

The police registered a case on the report of Athar Mehmmod and started investigation.

Locals said that the same house had been robbed years ago when it was owned by a local industrialist and now the new owner was also struck by robbers.
