The government has approved the issuance of health cards under its Social Health Protection Initiative, another historic public health project to ensure quality and best health facilities to the people.

“Health insurance will provide free medical treatment up to Rs1 million per annum and more than 1.82 million families will benefit from modern healthcare facilities,” he said.

In a tweet, the chief minister said the move to transform 72 union councils into town committees would provide 1.5 to 2 million people with municipal services, infrastructure and employment opportunities.

Meanwhile, Balochistan Home Minister Mir Ziaullah Langau, Minister for Sports and Culture Abdul Khaliq Hazara, Local Government Adviser Nawabzada Gohram Khan Bugti, Parliamentary Secretary Khalil George Bhutto, MPA Sardar Masood Khan Luni and a leader from Gwadar, Mir Naveed Ahmed Kalmati, held a meeting with CM Alyani at the Chief Minister’s House.

The current political situation in the province and other issues were discussed in detail during the meeting.
