RAWALPINDI: Aviation Minister Ghulam Sarwar Khan has warned that after Sept 30, all unvaccinated domestic and international travelers would face restrictions.

The aviation minister warned in a Twitter video message on Thursday that unvaccinated persons would be denied access to a variety of services after Sept 30.

Vaccines, he claimed, are widely available.

The aviation minister said: “People who have received the first dose of the vaccine against Covid-19 should get the second dose without waiting for a message from health authorities.”

Mr Khan said the Pakistan government had adopted the best strategy to prevent coronavirus.

Earlier, the National Command and Operation Centre (NCOC) had announced that all air inbound and outbound passengers would need to be fully vaccinated against Covid-19 by September 30.

A complete two-dose vaccination had been made compulsory for air travelers by Sept 30.

The NCOC had decided that only fully vaccinated people would be allowed to travel domestically and internationally from Sept 30.

Besides, unvaccinated people will not be allowed to use public transport after Oct 15.
