TAXILA: A court in Fatehjang sentenced a man to death for murdering his son-in-law over a domestic dispute in Hattar village in October 2018.

Additional Sessions Judge Fatehjang Raja Mohammad Ajmal Khan also fined the convict, Peerdad Shah, Rs400,000.

According to the first investigation report, Shah along with his son Zain Shah and daughter Amna Bibi shot dead Dildar Shah after he quarreled with his wife and sent her to her parents’ home.

The court set Amna free due to lack of evidence however Zain Shah is still at large.
