ISLAMABAD: The Federal Board of Revenue (FBR) on Tuesday clarified that the last date for filing of income tax returns will not be extended beyond September 30.

FBR Official Spokesperson Asad Tahir in a statement said that there is no proposal under consideration to extend the last date.

He said as a result of a full-fledged campaign, the results are coming out and people are increasingly submitting their annual income tax returns. They have appealed to the taxpayers to file their annual income tax returns before the deadline of September 30.
