GWADAR: A man and his two sons were shot dead by unknown attackers in Panjgur area.

Police said on Thursday that the tragic incident took place in the Vashbu area of Panjgur town on Wednesday night when the armed men barged into their house and opened indiscriminate fire on them while they were having dinner in the courtyard of the house, killing them on the spot.

The deceased were identified as Haji Musa, Qadeer Ahmed and Safeer Ahmed. Police rushed to the area and took bodies to the district hospital. The motive for the killings has not been ascertained so far.

“Haji Musa and his two sons died on the spot as they suffered multiple bullet wounds,” a senior police officer told Dawn. “We are investigating the incident,” he said.

The attackers escaped after the incident.
