Punjab Education Minister Dr Murad Raas has said that schools in the province would be closed from Monday if any educational institute failed to produce vaccination certificates of their teachers and other staff, APP reports.

Talking to the PTV News, the minister said the Punjab government had established monitoring teams that will conduct surprise raids in schools from next week to check vaccination certificates, adding, education ministry also decided that students of all educational institutions would bring vaccination certificates of their family members as proof of inoculation of the family.

"All teachers, administration and staff of public and private schools of Punjab have to be vaccinated by next week," he added.
