Pakistan has reported 141 deaths from the coronavirus during the last 24 hours — the highest number of fatalities since May 3, when the country reported 161 deaths.

According to the National Command and Operation Centre, 61,410 tests were conducted during this period and 4,199 came back positive. The total number of cases has risen to 1,135,858 and the death toll is 25,220.

The country's positivity rate is 6.83 per cent.

Sindh reported the highest number of deaths during the last 24 hours with 86 fatalities, followed by 28 in Punjab.

  • Sindh: 1,721 cases, 86 deaths
  • Punjab: 1,410 cases, 28 deaths
  • Khyber Pakhtunkhwa: 522 cases, 20 deaths
  • Azad Jammu and Kashmir: 222 cases, 1 death
  • Islamabad: 209 cases, 3 deaths
  • Balochistan: 63 cases, 2 deaths
  • Gilgit-Baltistan: 52 cases, 1 death
