Khyber Pakhtunkhwa has recorded 646 coronavirus cases over the past 24 hours, the highest in over three months. The province had last reported more than 646 infections on May 8, when 692 Covid cases were detected there.

KP's Covid-19 tally now stands at 148,619.

Moreover, 16 coronavirus-related deaths in KP have taken its total number of fatalities to 4,556.

Meanwhile, 39 new infections in Balochistan have raised its tally to 31,117 while the death toll remains 331.
