Khyber Pakhtunkhwa has recorded 623 coronavirus cases over the past 24 hours, the highest in over two months. The province had last reported more than 623 infections on May 9, when 642 Covid cases were detected there.

KP's Covid-19 tally now stands at 146,485.

Moreover, eight coronavirus-related deaths in KP have taken its total number of fatalities to 4,495.

Meanwhile, 131 new infections in Balochistan have raised its tally to 30,880. One more death has been reported in the province over the past 24 hours, raising the death toll to 329.
