Two robbers killed

DERA MURAD JAMALI: Two highway robbers looting passengers on the Natio­nal Highway near Bakhtia­rabad area of Sibi district on Tuesday were killed in an exchange of fire with members of the Levies Force.

Levies Force officials said that after receiving information about robbing of passengers by some dacoits on the National Highway, a heavy contingent of Levies Force rushed to the scene and cordoned off the area before launching an operation against the robbers. After an exchange of fire lasting several hours, two dacoits were killed but an accomplice of theirs escaped from the area.
