Khyber Pakhtunkhwa has recorded 591 coronavirus cases over the past 24 hours, the highest in over two months. The province had last reported more than 591 infections on May 9, when 642 Covid cases were detected there.

KP's Covid-19 tally now stands at 144,264.

Moreover, six coronavirus-related deaths in KP have taken its total number of fatalities to 4,462.

Meanwhile, 143 new infections in Balochistan have raised its tally to 30,432. No deaths have been reported in the province over the past 24 hours and the death toll remains 328.
