MARDAN, Oct 15: The brother of Maulana Fazl-ur-Rehman and provincial joint secretary of JUI, Attaur Rehman, has said the Taliban of Afghanistan need material help like cash, clothes and food, and not man force.

Attaur Rehman, who visited Mahub Banda, a suburban village of Mardan to address party workers at a local Madrassa, condemned the US attack on Afghanistan, terming it the “terrorism” of the worst kind.

He said the people of Afghanistan were passing through a very critical phase as both American and British forces had destroyed everything including airports, military installations, oil depots and were still pounding civilian population with bombs.

About the dropping of food items by the US aeroplane Atta, said the people of Afghanistan never accept it as they consider it as the items of an enemy and never will eat therefore they needs of their Muslim brothers.

About food drops, he said the Afghan people would never accept them because these belonged to their enemy. They would instead accept help from their Muslim brothers.

The people present on the occasion vowed to provide every possible help for this cause.

Meanwhile, the JUI has installed donation camps in Mardan district where workers are collecting contributions from the public, in cash and kind.
