At least 43 more people have died from the coronavirus in Sindh, the highest daily death toll reported by the province this year. Overall fatalities now stand at 5,903.

With 2,672 new infections in the last 24 hours, Sindh also reported its highest caseload since June 30, 2020, when it confirmed 2,701 cases.

The province's Covid-19 case tally has risen to 374,417. A total of 20,438 tests were conducted in the last 24 hours.

According to a statement, Chief Minister Murad Ali Shah said the virus "is spreading rapidly. Covid-19 SOPs must be adhered to strictly."
