Published October 31, 2005

QUETTA, Oct 30: Senior minister and chief of the parliamentary reconciliatory committee for Wadh, Maulana Abdul Wasay, and leader of the opposition Kachkol Ali have appealed to the rival factions of Wadh to stop issuing statements against each other.

In a joint statement issued on Saturday, they said statements would create misunderstanding that would affect the existing peaceful atmosphere.

The statement assured that the committee would take steps in consultation with both factions to settle the Wadh problem.
