Practice matches

KARACHI, Oct 29: Pakistan football team may play two practice matches against Asian countries before forthcoming SAFF championship, said Pakistan Football Federation (PFF) on Saturday.

Pakistan has sent invitations to Bahrain, UAE and Singapore to play matches against Pakistan before SAFF contest scheduled to be held in Karachi’s Peoples Stadium from Dec 7 to 17.

India, Bangladesh, Pakistan, Sri Lanka, Nepal, Maldives, Bhutan and Afghanistan will take part.

PFF said if plans to invite teams failed to materialize, the federation would send the team abroad to play matches as a part of build up.—PPI
