KARACHI: Byco Petroleum Pakistan Limited, Pakistan’s largest oil refining company, has signed an MoU for the first-ever implementation of SAP Ariba DSN (Digital Supplier Network) and Sourcing Suite in Pakistan.

The initiative will automate the procurement process enabling a paperless process, significantly eliminating errors and unnecessary delays, as encountered in traditional procurement to the payment process.

The MoU was signed by Azfar Saeed Baig, vice president information of Byco Petroleum Pakistan, and Wasil Amjad, CEO of Excellence Delivered Private Ltd.

The ceremony was attended by Fayaz Ahmad Khan, vice president commercial of Byco Petroleum, Rashid Badruddin, vice president operations of Byco Petroleum, Zafar Shahab, vice president finance of Byco Petroleum, and Mohammad Adeel, account director of SAP Pakistan.

According to a press release, the initiative will notably enhance the company’s strategic and operational capabilities while increasing efficiency and reducing processing time.
