Girl student abducted, gang raped in Rawalpindi

RAWALPINDI: A class eighth girl student was allegedly abducted and sexually assaulted by three men in the limits of Saddar Barooni police.

The victim, a resident of Liaquat Colony at Chakri Road, told police that on June 28 at midnight three young men, two of whom unidentified, knocked on the door of her house.

When she unlocked the door, the suspects gagged and abducted her in a car. After about one-and-a-half hour, they took her to a house.

The FIR said the girl was given water and after drinking it she fell unconscious and was raped by the suspects.

When her father, a labourer, knew that his daughter had been abducted, he reached the houses of the suspects in Gujar Khan and brought her back the next morning.

The police have registered a case and launched an investigation.

In the middle of the night, why did a 13 year old girl have to open the door and not her father ? If she was abducted by force, why did she not raise any hue or cry to wake up her other family members ?

This story is full of holes. Not plausible. No name of culprits- if the ‘father’ located them so easily how have the ATC not apprehended them by now? Ridiculously shoddy.

As per PMIK the entire fault is this girl's alone. She must have been wearing "improper" clothes that 3 men came to her house with ready made "Water" kidnapped her, drugged her and raped her. Now the poor 3 men are being hunted by liberal police

Poor, poor girl and her poor father. It’s heartbreaking. Unless there is better security and law enforcement horrible things like this continue to happen. Children should never open the door of the house to anyone except family just pretend you are not home.

According to PMIK the three men are robots and the girl must have worn inadequate clothes so the men got tempted and committed a mistake.

A very ambiguous story,girl alone at mid night opens door,for a known person, who with his two accomplices takes the young girl/child,drugged her,rapped and returned to her father,many loop holes in the evidence,many wrong events,not nature of crime?Still poor little girl has to suffer the wild trauma,all her life,as there is no justice,instant bail ready by courts,police corruption/negligence encourages criminals,who are paid by the taxes of the poor victims & lifelong threat by convicts.

@Amin, The father probably wasn't home, the girl was probably gagged before she could make noise (is that possible?). are you related to alleged rapists in any way?

need to have specially trained police officers with such cases, unfortunately the police are full of miscreants, we have the ppp and pmln to thank for this. The police need to investigate this crime as there is something more to this than meets the eye. For those liberals trying to take a dig at the PM, you are a minority trying to ingratiate yourselves to the white sahab.

Very sad event but there is more to this heartbreaking tragedy. Girls father must also be investigated. As long we have extreme poverty in our some population these sad stories will not stop. We need to eradicate poverty by employment opportunities, education and self respect! Sincerely

Highly dubious case. The girl was abducted around midnight by three person, one of whom she knew and father went to get her in the morning, after the gang-rape, knowing where to get her.
