PESHAWAR: The Provincial Development Working Party (PDWP) on Monday approved two projects in the education sector to be executed in settled and merged districts at a cost of Rs1.5 billion.

The development came at a video-linked special meeting of PDWP chaired by additional chief secretary Shahab Ali Shah, according to a statement.

The forum considered continuing the basic education community schools (BECS) programme and National Commission for Human Development centres in the province and the merged areas, and approved both the projects.
