SUKKUR: Two young boys were crushed to death under the wheels of a goods train and two of their playmates were injured when they were busy playing on tracks near Mando Dero in Rohri taluka on Monday.

According to eyewitness account, the driver of a Punjab-bound train kept blowing horn to alert the boys but they were so engrossed in their game they could not get out of the way in time to save their lives.

As a result, 12-year-old Abdul Hameed Chohan and 10-year-old Fateh Chohan were crushed to death and their playmates Sanaullah and Amanullah were injured.

Villagers shifted the bodies and the injured to Rohri taluka hospital. The bodies were later handed over to heirs after completion of medico-legal formalities and the injured were admitted for treatment.
