DERA ISMAIL KHAN: Police have arrested four suspects for their involvement in a double murder case reported in the limits of Saddar police station.

They also recovered the weapon and a vehicle used in the incident from their possession.

Saddar DSP Hafiz Adnan Khan said that four accused involved in the murder of a couple, which took place in the name of honour near Tank Road Bhitaniabad the other day, were arrested along with the weapon and vehicle used in the incident.

He said that Jamil, a resident of Hisam village, and his young wife, who had got married of choice a few months ago, were returning home after appearing in the local court when suddenly four armed men in a car opened fire on them near Tank Road and killed them on the spot.

He said that all the four accused nominated in the case, including Allah Nawaz, Shahnawaz, Iqbal and Arif, were arrested and a 30-bore pistol and vehicle (S-7026) recovered from their possession.
