KARACHI, Oct 26: Sindh Chief Minister Dr Arbab Ghulam Rahim on Wednesday expressed sorrow over the demise of Sindhi folk singer Zarina Baloch, who passed away late Tuesday night.

In a condolence message, he said Ms.Zarina made tremendous contribution to Sindhi culture and heritage, especially folk music and her efforts would be remembered for a long to come.

Sindh Minister for Culture Qamar Mansoor and Secretary Culture Ms Mahtab Akbar Rashidi expressed their profound grief and sorrow over sad demise of Jeeji Zarina Baloch.

The Awami National Party (ANP) Sindh President, Shahi Syed, General Secretary Farooq Bangash, Sultan Mandokhel, Amin Khatak, Rana Gul Afridi and others on Wednesday condoled the demise of renowed Sindhi writter and artist Jeeji Zarina Baloch, the wife of Awami Tehreek cheif Rasool Bux Palijo.—PPI
