KARACHI: The Muttahida Qaumi Movement-Pakistan is going to stage a big protest demonstration against the government of the Pakistan Peoples Party in Sindh on Tuesday (tomorrow).

A decision to this effect was taken in the meeting of the party’s coordination committee presided over by its convener Dr Khalid Maqbool Siddiqui on Saturday.

The party decided to stage a protest rally that would start from Hassan Square and culminate at the Karachi Press Club. The coordination committee of the MQM-P said in a statement that the “biased” PPP government had turned the city of Karachi into ruins.

“We want to tell the biased Sindh government that progress of Pakistan is linked with the progress of Karachi,” the statement said.
