ISLAMABAD, Oct 25: The Central Board of Revenue has clarified zero rate of sales tax on supply of electricity to major export-oriented industries. The anomalies were removed through eight notifications released here on Tuesday.
The amended SROs that were issued after making amendments in the previous SROs included: SRO 1081(I)/2005 dated October 24, 2005 amends SRO 927(I)/2005 dated 10.09.2005; SRO 1082(I)/2005 dated October 24 which amends SRO 928(I)/2005 dated 10.09.2005; SRO 1083(I)/2005 dated October 24 amends SRO 929(I)/2005 dated 10.09.2005; SRO 1084(I)/2005 dated October 24 amends SRO930(I)/2005 dated 10.09.2005; SRO 1085(I)/2005 dated October 24 amends SRO 931(I)/2005 dated 10.09.2005; SRO 1086(I)/2005 dated October 24 amends SRO 932(I)/2005 dated 10.09.2005; SRO 1087(I)/2005 dated October 24 amends SRO933(I)/2005 dated 10.09.2005; and SRO 1088(I)/2005 dated October 24, 2005 amends SRO 934(I)/2005 dated 10.09.2005.
