THE Khyber Pakhtunkhwa government announced a concession in school fee to provide some relief to the parents during the ongoing pandemic, but it has terribly failed to implement its order. The schools are still charging full fee from students. As far as they are concerned, the notification applies to elite schools only.

The government must implement its order in letter and in spirit, and take strict action against school managements in case of violations. It must also ask the schools to arrange double-shift programmes for students in order to avoid overcrowding.
