TAXILA: Deputy Commissioner Attock Imran Hamid Sheikh along with Chief Executive Officer District Education Authority Mohsin Abbas and others welcomed students at the Govt Pilot Secondary School as classes for 10th and 12th graders resumed on Monday.

Speaking on the occasion, Mohsin Abbas said standard operating procedures (SOPs) had been issued for the school staff and parents.

He said as per the SOPs, body temperatures of people entering the institutions would be checked while they would be sanitised too.

He said there would be a ban on organising assemblies or any kind of events until further orders.

The deputy commissioner on the occasion urged the school administration to ensure maximum compliance with the preventive measures and the SOPs.

He said a zero tolerance policy would be adopted for students and school administrations if they did not follow the recommendations of cloth masks, hand washing and physical distancing.

Officials presented flowers to the students on their first day in the school after a break of around three months.
